# Cutoff points in SCOPE programe

Iam a class 11 student from coimbatore, Tamilnadu.Joining IIT madras has been my **dream** since **class 9**. I want to pursue BTech **Aerospace Engineering** in **IIT MADRAS.** After learning about the **SCOPE programme,** iam prepping for \*\*NSEP(\*\*PHYSICS Olympiad), but i have to leave my **jee prep** for it.So if you can kindly share the Cutoff points for Aerospace engineering(BTECH-4 years),Aerospace engineering(BTech + MTech),Electrical Engineering, i can decide whether to focus on **JEE** or **OLYMPIAD** to **Join** IIT MADRAS .Your **valuable** information and **cutoff points** would be highly appreciated and very **helpful** for my engineering endeavor.Thank you for spending your valuable time and effort.Thank you for your **help**.

Here are the cutoff ranks for IIT Madras admissions in 2025 for the courses you asked about

Considering these cutoff ranks, Electrical Engineering is more competitive than Aerospace Engineering. The dual degree in Aerospace Engineering has a slightly better rank but still quite competitive.

If your JEE rank is likely to be within these ranges, focusing on JEE prep is crucial. If your strength leans more towards Olympiad exams and you aim via the SCOPE programme, balance your preparation accordingly, but ensure your JEE rank can meet the cutoff.

This data can help you decide whether to focus more on JEE or the Olympiad for joining IIT Madras in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering. However, we would advise you to gain a solid foundation in JEE prep regardless, since having a good base understanding of all 3 subjects will help you in the future.
