# PhD Admissions in Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) – IIT Madras

**Session:** January 2026

The admission cycle for the **PhD program in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Department** at IIT Madras for the **January 2026 session** will run from **April 4, 2025, to October 31, 2025**.
