Since its establishment in 1959, the Department of Mathematics at IIT Madras has been entrusted with the task of delivering Mathematics courses to a wide range of students, including B.Tech., M.Tech. (excluding IMSC), Dual Degree in Engineering Design, M.Sc, and Ph.D. students of the institute.
