Data Science and AI Building/Campus

IITM started new department for Data Science and AI. I have few questions:

  • Is this department inside IITM campus
  • Is there going to be new building for this department or sharing the building with some other department. if yes, which department.
  • Also are hostels going to be same for all 1st year students including AI branch ?

Hi Rohit,

  • Yes, it is.
  • The Wadhwani School of Data Science & AI is inside the New Academic Complex 2 (NAC-2).
  • Yes, the hostels for all first-year B.Tech. students are the same.
