Hi Rohit,

  • Yes, IITM has a minor in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, offered by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
  • A student from the Electrical Engineering Department is eligible for a minor in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
  • To claim a minor in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, the student needs to complete at least four courses from the list of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning courses offered by the Computer Science and Engineering Department. The list of courses can be found here.
  • To do a minor, the student needs to complete at least four courses from the elective list for the respective list, in addition to meeting the credit requirements for their major, that is, their main degree.
