Minor and Elective choosing criteria

I have few basic questions below.

  1. From which year I am able to choose electives?
  2. What is electives allocation process?
    3.is chosen electives by students allocated to them or there is some criteria for it.
  3. are these electives changed to minor certificates later.

  1. You can choose electives from your second semester.
    2 & 3. The elective allocation process varies from elective to elective. It could be based on CGPA, first-come-first-serve, or random allocation. Some courses may require you to have completed other courses.
