What should I bring in my bag?

An important concern to all of you before your initial arrival on campus is: “What should I bring with me?” as it is a huge task to list out things when you are starting a new chapter of your life, in a new city.

To address this specific question, IITM students have compiled a document that includes a comprehensive list of everything you would need to bring.

What to bring to insti? - This is an extremely useful document, and it is compiled by people based on their experiences, so there is no need to ask anyone else! Luggage bags, backpacks, Documents, Hygiene, Medicine, footwear, Electronics, clothes, accessories, everything that you would need in Insti is in the doc.

The document above provides a detailed list of items you need to bring. For a simpler version, here’s a table for your convenience:

The mattresses are sold at wholesale prices, with a sale in front of the hostels during entry, and a Cycle mela happens to buy cycles around the same time.
