Sports Excellence Admissions (SEA): Champions Welcome
Have a national or international sports medal collecting dust on your shelf? Dust it off—because SEA recognizes that the same grit that wins tournaments can tackle engineering challenges. Athletes with medals from the past four years can now trade their sporting glory for an IIT seat.
The points system is simple: national-level medals fetch 15–35 points (Bronze to Gold), while international achievements soar higher—50 points for participation up to 100 for Gold. Importantly, each program reserves two seats: one open to all and one exclusively for female athletes, ensuring the opportunities are truly inclusive.

Fine Arts Excellence (FACE): Where Creativity Meets Code
Who says artists and engineers live in separate worlds? Introduced in 2025, FACE opens IIT Madras to students who’ve excelled in visual arts, music, dance, or theatre—because creativity and innovation go hand in hand.
The catch? You’ll still need to qualify through JEE Advanced, but once you do, your artistic accomplishments become your edge. The scoring system ranges from 50 points for Category B recognitions to 100 points for rare, top-tier achievements, proving that engineering welcomes more than just logic—it thrives on imagination.

Science Olympiad Excellence (SCOPE): For the Science Superstars
If you’ve survived the intensity of a science Olympiad training camp, then from this year, 2025, onwards, SCOPE is your reward. This program opens doors for students participating in top-level math, informatics, and science olympiad camps under HBCSE or IARCS.
What’s remarkable is the breadth: from Aerospace to Naval Architecture, from Computer Science to Biomedical Engineering, nearly every program offers two SCOPE seats.
