Hi! i’ve been selected for direct PhD programme in IITM. will i be allowed to use a hair dryer, or a small electric kettle in the hostel room? or is it prohibited?

Hostel residents are not allowed to own any electric appliances. Most hostels have a hair dryer and an electric kettle, which you can borrow.
